Moeketsi Mokuoane
Managing Partner
Moeketsi is a founder and Managing Partner of Stonefield Credit Partners. He oversees the management of Stonefield Credit Partners and sits on the Investment Committee of the Credit Opportunities Fund and Portable Alpha strategy.
From 2007 to 2009, Moeketsi worked as an investment analyst at Brait Private Equity, where his responsibilities included research, financial and industry analysis, primarily in the consumer and industrial sector.
From 2010 to 2015, he was a Principal at Mezzanine Partners and focused on originating, structuring and executing mezzanine/“quasi” equity transactions in South Africa.
In 2016, he co-founded Tamela Capital Partners as shareholder and Managing Director. For six years he led the capital raising strategy of the c. R900 million mezzanine fund and deployed capital across a number of investments before moving on to establish Stonefield Credit Partners.
Moeketsi holds a B Com (Accounting) from Potchefstroom University, where he graduated cum laude. He also holds a B Com (Hons) Accounting from Rand Afrikaans University and M Com (Finance & Investments) from the University of the Witwatersrand. Moeketsi is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a student member of Actuarial Society of South Africa.

Andrew Khotego
Partner
Andrew has nearly 19 years of experience in finance, specializing in debt financing, private equity, venture capital, and corporate finance advisory. With over a decade at the Standard Bank Group, he played a crucial role as a dealmaker in the Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team and helped establish the bank’s Leveraged & Acquisition Finance business in East Africa. During his tenure, Andrew has been involved in the successful execution of close to R9 billion in credit transactions in over 10 countries. Prior to his dealmaking role, Andrew managed credit exposure to mining and BEE counterparties as part of the Standard Bank CIB’s Corporate Credit team. He also contributed to the bank’s inaugural listed retail bond as part of the Graduate Trainee program.
Andrew also brings experience in private equity and venture capital, having made strategic equity investments in Underwriting Management Agencies (UMAs) and venture capital investments in insuretech startups at Hannover Re. Additionally, Andrew gained expertise in debt and equity capital advisory at PwC, advising clients on capital raising and balance sheet restructurings.
Andrew holds a CFA Charterholder designation, a BCom in Economics and Finance from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, and a Certificate in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of South Africa. He has also completed the IoDSA Certified Director pathway training programs.

Nkululeko Msayi
Head of Investor Relations
Nkululeko joined Stonefield Credit Partners in April 2023 as Head of Investor Relations responsible for capital raising and client relations.
He started his career as a business development associate at Benguela Global Fund Managers, where he was responsible for new business and client relations for more than two years. He then worked for an employee advisory firm as a business development manager, before joining Legacy Africa as a business development manager. For 5 years he covered private equity, local listed investments and listed Africa (excluding South Africa) equities.
Nkululeko was awarded his Diploma in Business Management from University of Johannesburg (UJ) in 2014.

Melosi Baloyi
Non-executive directors
Melusi is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Xivoni Actuaries and Consultants. He has been practising since 2011 in the life insurance, funeral insurance, and reinsurance industry.
Melusi sits on the ASSA Council and leads the Microinsurance Practice Area Committee. In addition, he sits on various boards as both an executive director and non-executive director. This demonstrates Melusi’s experience at the operational, strategic and governance levels. Melusi has a wealth of technical experience as a senior actuary and has a microinsurance practising certificate, which certifies him to act as Head of Actuarial Control Function (HAF) for microinsurance companies.
During his career, he has been a lead in assisting clients with applications for the micro-insurance licence in South Africa. Melusi has led teams of senior actuaries, managing complex projects under time pressure, and has delivered great quality results. He has experience working with actuaries in Africa, North America, South-East Asia and Europe.
